Grim The Reaper

Here's Grim from the comic that I'm helping a friend out with. This a little bit more detailed than what you can find in the comic but if you would like to check that out, go ahead and follow this link --> Immortals

If you enjoyed it, leave a like and subscribe! It will help the comic out and tune you in to when the next issue publishes. Thanks!

If you would like to visit some of our social media, here is the one of my friend --> Yrea
And here's one of mine --> Ruffu_

This one is just is a much sketchier version. Still didn't know what to do with the scythe here.

YOU'RE ODD - Pepper In The Sandbox Key Art/Visual Development

Pepper getting singled out by the gang at the playground.

So I've been working on this piece for a while. Realized that playgrounds are harder to draw than expected, I started with a 3D base that I made in Maya that rendered out and drew on top of.

I made this as a practice for bringing something to a "tight" and "finished" quality. It also served as practice for painting on top of a 3D model and have the end product look as if it was all just painted. I think I did an OK job but I could've done a better job hiding some other elements.

Here's the GIF of the process and the stages that underwent.

An Updated Inventory UI

Ya'll hey!

Here's an updated version of the inventory UI that I made. It's a little sci-fi-ish compared to what I have in mind but I wanted to start somewhere.

Trying Out Some UI

Haven't done user interface type of work before and thought that I would try it out. Below are some experiments on how the UI will look if they were put in a made up game that I previously painted.

Glossy gradients to the same pickups

The Mess Hall

Here I am... The Mess Hall. The last place I saw nobody.

A piece inspired by some Last of Us and Uncharted concept art. It was fun photobashing images around and then mixing them up with a little of painting here and there. Some 3D was also used as a base for the structure and the mushrooms.

A Mech That's A Priest That Focuses On Religion? Where Has Science Taken Us!?!?

You guys ever think that the robots would be so smart that they start making their own religions because of the complex algorithms that they would eventually and ultimately come to the absurd conclusion that there is a higher force governing their very lives?

Because I don't. Who would think of something like that?

Where'd Did You Take Us To Now?

A touch-up of an old sketch that I had done for something else.

Here's the sketch.

Infected Scout Camping Ground

Here's a photobash of an early concept for an environment I'm helping a friend of mine out. It's influenced by Last of Us and the concept art that they have. The thought is, what would have happened to a camping ground that was affected by the virus? How would the cubscouts or girl scouts have done and what would have they succumbed to?

Shocking Developments Splash Page - Zootopia

Hey there! I made a sort of splash page-y illustration to an ongoing, fun little comic that I'm making called Shocking Developments. If you want to check it out, visit my site HERE to see the pages I have so far.

A More Updated Version of The Painting I Did A While Back

Naked Quad-Walker

Something, something, scary quad dude.

Character Line-ups

Cyber Punk Pirates

Chibi Train Cops

Over The Edge

Judy wants to do the right thing but Nick reassures her that it's best to let it be.

Megan On The Balcony

Oh no! You got her cornered. Or do you?

Megan At The Sauna

I haven't posted anything on here in over 2 months! I feel bad.

So to kick this one off again, here's a little painting of what Megan might have done back in the day before she became a boring ol' secretary.

Megan Fawkes Concepts

So a little whiles back, I thought of a character to be a sort of love-interest to Nick Wilde in Zootopia. He sees her working in the ZPD as a case filer or something to that extent and develops a crush towards her.

Of course, this has its ups and downs-- mostly downs-- and creates some unnecessary tension between our two protagonists; Judy's not too amused by the idea and Nick gets distracted from doing his work. And this goes back and forth until it ultimately costs Nick and Judy to lose a lead.

The next set of images are arranged newest to oldest from top to bottom.

Megan Poses
Exploring some of the ranges her model can go.

 Bellwether Bugs Megan
Thought of a scene/background story for Megan. She used to work for Dawn Bellwether as her secretary when the little sheep became mayor of Zootopia for a while.

 Megan Lineup
Designed some outfits Megan could wear. The first one was picked as I felt it fit her character that I have in my head.

The First Sketch
The first drawing I did of Megan. I wanted her to be someone who is irritated and annoyed about her job because some part of her feels that she could be doing something better. I had the idea that she is genuinely sly compared to Nick who became a sly fox because that's how he thought the world viewed and wanted him to be. Megan on the other hand, is naturally conniving and born to manipulate. This makes her leagues better at tricking and conning others compared to Nick. However, unlike Nick, she's stuck in a job that requires the least amount of use of her abilities and so, she drones on and you see her with that half interested, bored look.

A Little Wallpaper

Just made a little sketch of Nick and Judy but for the life of me, I couldn't draw an appropriate background for the two. It always looked weird. It's probably because I drew them without a background in mind and so, I drew them flat with no perspective and any perspective added in makes them stand out in a very awkward way.
